From a public domain to an explanatory record

The same domain can reveal a lot, a little, or almost nothing. Scanapse keeps that difference visible so the reader knows what the record actually rests on.

The service records public elements it can reach within the announced scope: visible page, redirects, DNS, mail, certificate, and exposed protections.

Observations are grouped by function and tied back to evidence so a fact, a visible relationship, and an interpretation remain distinct.

What Scanapse can read publicly

The boundary is part of the result. An inaccessible, untested, or undetected element is not turned into a favorable conclusion.

When reading is limited

When a site limits the reading

A protected or incomplete page must not create an illusion of knowledge. Scanapse keeps what is still verifiable and clearly states the reading level reached.

Full reading

The public page and the main planned signals are accessible, giving the record more material to connect observations.

Partial reading

The domain responds but limits some content. Public elements that remain accessible are shown without extrapolating what is missing.

Minimal reading

The page does not provide usable content. The record keeps only the public elements that can still be verified.

The reading remains bounded. Scanapse does not try to force a response or bypass protection. When the domain does not allow a deeper reading, that limit becomes part of the record.
